Shebeney has played sports her entire life, and is one of the original owners and founders of the Tomahawks sports brand. With the creation of the RVA Tomahawks Men's football team in 2017, Shebeney was an intricate part to making the Tomahawks a very successful team, on and off the field. There is nothing she wouldn't do for the success of the program and all involved with it from other staff members, coaches, and players. 

With numerous championships at the league level as well as the national level, Shebeney took the opportunity to actually play in 2022 with a woman's team from the Newport News, VA area, and saw the value, and need for a woman's team in the local Richmond, VA footprint. As the men's team final season being the 2022 fall season, Shebeney is bringing her expertise and drive to the RVA Lady Tomahawks,  she looks forward to bring the RVA Tomahawks success on and off the field to a new era of football players.

With experience stemming from the age of 7 in Maine, to current day involvement as line coach with men's semi-pro as well as refereeing in central Virginia, Jason's knowledge on and off the field is going to be an asset to the Lady Tomahawks organization. On the field, he has seen success as an offensive as well as a defensive lineman, in both the indoor and outdoor game, obtaining numerous league & national championships, all star teams,  3 trips with team USA, and culminating with his inductions into the Amateur Football Hall Of Fame and Minor League Football Hall Of Fame in 2019.  He continues to share his knowledge and experience within the semi pro environment, and as a referee to the high school and youth ranks. He is excited for this new opportunity for not only himself but a whole new brand of football to the Richmond, VA market. 

Coach Mike Mickam is a resident of Prince George County and a graduate of Petersburg High School where he played football. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Coast Guard, during which time he discovered he had a passion for coaching football.

His first coaching experience came with the Cape May County Lower Township recreation department football program. Mike enjoyed 2 years as a linebacker coach before being transferred to several places with the coast guard, where he continued to learn from several established coaches including coaching in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Mike Returned to Petersburg in 2001 and began his semi-pro coaching career with the Virginia Ravens as a defensive line coach. In 2003, Mike was promoted to Defensive Coordinator where he brought home 3-Mason Dixon League Championships, 1-Eastern Football National Championship as well as numerous conference championships. In 2012, Coach Mike was named the first Defensive Coordinator for the Virginia Titans, where he spent 3 years as defensive coordinator including post season appearances all 3 years. He then went on to become the defensive coordinator and Assistant Head coach for the Petersburg Lions, before becoming the Head Coach for the newly formed Virginia Skyhawks in 2016-2017, taking them all the way to the ECFA League Championship. He remained Head Coach there until 2020 and COVID struck the world. After a brief retirement from coaching, Coach Mike returns with your Lady Tomahawks where is is looking for taking the team to, and winning, the championship.

As former owner and coach of the successful RVA Tomahawks mens semimpro football team, Coach Jerome brings his wealth of knowledge and experience to help guide your Lady Tomahawks to the win column. His Minor League football experience began in 1992 with many teams starting with the Lynchburg Jaguars, Virginia Storm, Lynchburg Cardinals and finished his playing career in 2010 with the Virginia Hornets, where he proceeded to coach, until the start of the RVA Tomahawks, accomplishing a dream of team ownership in 2017. With Jerome leading the way, the Tomahawks saw numerous playoff apperances, 2 league championships, 2 national championships, and recognized as a top nationally ranked team numerous seasons in a row. In 2018, he was inducted into the Minor League Football Hall of Fame and in 2019 Amateur Football Hall Of Fame. Now he brings his knowledge, success,  and experience to the Lady Tomahawks, and to help bring success to this brand of football in Virginia and beyond.

Coach James's passion for football extends long before it brought him to coaching, although his success and knowledge of the game, speaks louder than the dates physically on the field. Coach James has continuously coached starting in 2007 until present day. He started with youth football, then transitioned to Defensive Coordinator with the Northern Neck Rivermen, and the RVA Tomahawks, both men's semi-pro football organizations. His career has also seen 5 years at Drew Middle School as Defensive Coordintor & Head Coach, as well as 2 years as Brooke Point High Schools Defensive Coordinator. His Continued passion, love, and knowledge of the game will be a great fit for your Lady Tomahawks Family.
