Shebeney has played sports her entire life, and is one of the original owners and founders of the Tomahawks sports brand. With the creation of the RVA Tomahawks Men's football team in 2017, Shebeney was an intricate part to making the Tomahawks a very successful team, on and off the field. There is nothing she wouldn't do for the success of the program and all involved with it from other staff members, coaches, and players. 

With numerous championships at the league level as well as the national level, Shebeney took the opportunity to actually play in 2022 with a woman's team from the Newport News, VA area, and saw the value, and need for a woman's team in the local Richmond, VA footprint. As the men's team final season being the 2022 fall season, Shebeney is bringing her expertise and drive to the RVA Lady Tomahawks,  she looks forward to bring the RVA Tomahawks success on and off the field to a new era of football players.

With experience stemming from the age of 7 in Maine, to current day involvement as line coach with men's semi-pro as well as refereeing in central Virginia, Jason's knowledge on and off the field is going to be an asset to the Lady Tomahawks organization. On the field, he has seen success as an offensive as well as a defensive lineman, in both the indoor and outdoor game, obtaining numerous league & national championships, all star teams,  3 trips with team USA, and culminating with his inductions into the Amateur Football Hall Of Fame and Minor League Football Hall Of Fame in 2019.  He continues to share his knowledge and experience within the semi pro environment, and as a referee to the high school and youth ranks. He is excited for this new opportunity for not only himself but a whole new brand of football to the Richmond, VA market. 

Coach James's passion for football extends long before it brought him to coaching, although his success and knowledge of the game, speaks louder than the dates physically on the field. Coach James has continuously coached starting in 2007 until present day. He started with youth football, then transitioned to Defensive Coordinator with the Northern Neck Rivermen, and the RVA Tomahawks, both men's semi-pro football organizations. His career has also seen 5 years at Drew Middle School as Defensive Coordintor & Head Coach, as well as 2 years as Brooke Point High Schools Defensive Coordinator. His Continued passion, love, and knowledge of the game will be a great fit for your Lady Tomahawks Family.
